Labor Pains

What a whelping! Zoey started stage three of labor yesterday afternoon and finally pushed out an adorable black and white tri little boy. She never went into distress but also kept everyone on pins and needles while hours went by waiting for the next two pups. By 2:30 am with still no puppy - off to the Emergency Vet they all went.

By looking at this photo I am sure you can figure out what happened!!! The next puppy to come down the pipe was this HUGE cream and white boy - followed by his black and white tri sister.

Mom and pups are doing great this afternoon - resting, feeding and more resting. Zoey is still a bit loopy from her c-section, but has strong instincts that have kicked into gear - she's a great mommy.
