Well Chite!

It has happened again. A gate jumper has changed our plans.

I have crates for all of our dogs but can count on my two hands how many times we have used them. Our dogs are members of our family - they sleep I our beds, cuddle on our couch and have the freedoms family members deserve.

The boys are together in the kitchen right now, separated from the girls by a 4 foot high wooden door. This has been the our set up for each of our heat cycles.

It's Alexis' birthday this weekend so we have been in and out and about. Well apparently 4 foot isn't high enough because while we were outside - for only FIVE MINUTES - we came back to find him attached to our sweet Baby. He jumped the gate!!!!

Chances are it didn't take but we will be happy for a new litter if this was meant to be. If we happen to step out over the next week we will take him with us and for the next couple months we will keep an eye on Baby. And I think I need to get back to the drawing board and design us some belly bands for these horney boys - and perhaps some heat panties for the girls!!!!
