Bestest Of Buds

Chanel is here for the week. We are babysitting while her mommy is out of town. Little Cocoa is totally loving having another puppy in the house. They play together all day long and nap in-between.

I love the fact that I get to watch Chanel grow up. She has lost her puppy coat and is really starting to get some long legs. I have given her my own little nickname. I swear she looks like Fivel from the An American Tail movie with her adorable overbite!!!

Making Herself At Home

Today was a family adventure day for us. Since little Chanel is part of our extended family, she came over with our son's girlfriend. It hasn't taken Chanel long to figure out how things work here as part of the pack. Right into the kitchen she went and then right to the food. Of course, she seemed to strut in front of everyone, showing off her pretty little dress. Can you believe that it is really for a WebKin?? Too cute!

Babysitting Gig

Chanel (AKA Chalupa) went home with our sweet Sarah (our oldest son's girlfriend) I can tell you that she is a perfect princess and treated just as so. Tonight was a date night so I was asked to baby-sit. I suddenly feel like grandma! I will say it is going to be so neat to be able to watch her grow and have regular visits.

Chanel ending up having a play date with Choco while the kids were out at the movies. Lots of romping and wrestling, nibbling and napping going on.
